UNDER DEVELOPMENT
Built for MSFS202 & MSFS2024, the highly anticipated 2nd aircraft from JSS Simulations
The Embraer 120 Brasilia, a 30-seat turboprop, began development in 1974 as the "Araguaia" but was relaunched in 1979 as the Brasilia, incorporating feedback for a more capable regional airliner with faster speeds and higher ceilings than comparable aircraft, using Pratt & Whitney PW115 turboprops. The Embraer 120 Brasilia in South Africa primarily served regional airlines and charter operators due to its economy and suitability for short-haul routes, with key players like Comair receiving early deliveries (though some went to other African nations first) and Sahara Aviation using them extensively before moving to larger jets, highlighting the type's strong presence for supporting regional networks, mining, and oil/gas sectors, known for its reliability in demanding African conditions
